We welcome people to our volunteer team as hosts who are skilled in public speaking, have an approachable personality, and are comfortable on a platform in front of people. We view our hosts as a 'tour guide' through the service. When on the team, you will have responsibilities to prepare individually and be part of Sunday services for which you are scheduled. The Worship Pastor will work to schedule you based on your availability.
Take pictures at StoneBridge events.
Design graphics for various StoneBridge communication.
Assist with making videos for StoneBridge to be used for various ministries.
Serve at the Connection Center welcoming guests and people asking for more information about StoneBridge. This is a great way to help people get connected in the church.
Make and serve coffee to people during Sunday mornings or Sunday night. You provide people with a warm drink and smile as they go to service.
Greet people as they enter the building. A goal at StoneBridge is to greet everyone who walks in the building. You are one of the first impressions of the church!
Ushers do various roles including handing out programs, helping people find their seats and serving offering and communion.
Prepare communion before the first service.
Help people find parking spots and to be a clear presence in the parking lots. You are the first person guests interact with!
Assist with various events at the church by setting up, tearing down or preparing food.
Care for babies while parents worship! Lead little ones in a simple Bible story and show them Jesus' love through play!
Lead kids 2 years- Kindergarten through a weekly lesson as we travel through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation!
Assist the Lead Teacher with the weekly lesson and completion of small group activities.
Lead a group of 1st-5th graders in small group activities that reinforce the Large Group Lesson.
Lead a group of 1st-3rd graders through a multi-media large group experience that includes video Bible lesson, video worship songs, Key Passage and Big Idea!
Lead a group of 3 year old-Kindergarten kids each Wednesday through rotations that teach them to serve and help them make the night's Bible lesson stick!
Lead a group of 3 year old-Kindergarten kids each Wednesday through activities that reinforce the night's Bible lesson and serve idea!
Lead a group of 3 year old-Kindergarten kids each Wednesday through service projects.
Lead a team of 1st-5th graders through a series of service projects over the course of 6-8 weeks on a Wednesday night.
Welcome new families to StoneBridge Hollow and check-in existing families on Sundays or Wednesdays.
Help keep the hallways safe by monitoring halls during service, greeting new families and showing them to their rooms, and serving other volunteers.
Meets 6-7:30pm Sunday nights during the school year. Help lead a group of high school students in a Bible Study and have fun connecting with students playing games, eating food and hanging out.
Meets Sunday nights from 6-7pm in the Upstairs Lobby of the church. Help lead a group of middle school students through a Bible study and have fun connecting through games, snacks, hanging out and building relationships.
Connect with middle and high school students and help lead breakout discussion groups.
Facilitate check in of students into programming.
Greet students warmly as they arrive and help maintain order in the hall and lobby.
Greet students as they arrive and help with distributing snacks to students.
Help facilitate student games and activities before and after Elevate to provide a fun atmosphere for students to connect with others.
Pray on behalf of others. Join an email list or phone call list to receive requests that come to the church.
Compassionately reach out during a hospitalization, extended illness or hospice care by visiting and praying with those in need.
We can provide training and coaching if you would like to step out and lead in an area where you have received healing.
Serve at events like funerals by helping with food service, set up or clean-up.
As a Small Group Leader you would be recruiting and managing a StoneBridge Small Group of 8-12 people on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. This position comes with training ahead of time and coaching as you lead the group.
As a Small Group Host you would be providing your home as a meeting space for a StoneBridge Small Group.
As an Event Check-in volunteer you would be operating the check-in computer and generating nametags as people arrive at a Discipleship Event.
